Roland Mesh Electronic Drum Kit withGreat Cymbals, Large Ride and Gig Case
This kit is rock solid, and plays and sounds awesome. I have had it since 2008. I have kept it in the garage and covered when I was not playing it. It’s in really great condition. I upgraded the hi-hat to the CR-12H hi-hat which feels great, and you don’t need a hi-hat stand making it easier to transport. As you can see from the pictures the hi-hat is only piece that has some discoloration I assume from the sun with the previous owner but it works great and is well hidden when setup. The rack is large enough to mimic the size and positioning of a standard acoustic kit to make it easier when switching between your kits if you will use this to practice at night like I do. I loved playing on this kit. I recorded a demo of me playing it so you can hear what it sounds like with the internal. Sounds, and how loud it is without headphones. I also show it being used as a midi trigger through garage band which is free and has some great sounding kits and the latency is surprisingly low can be played with instead of using the internal sounds live. E=fNQlNW What all is included? Roland TD-8 Drum module This has a lot of nice features that only high end flagship models have like CMOS to allow for customization and. Tuning of the drums, room ambiance, as well as positional sensing for the snare drum this means you get different sounds when playing closer to the rim or the center of the drum. See the Roland wiki. Midi (In and Out). As well as several. 3 different stereo outs. That you can mix independently. It also has individual faders for each drum trigger, it supports all the drums that are included and there is one more slot for an extra dual trigger or you can split the two extra slots to support 4 single triggers. You can also run audio in to play with your favorite music. This is nice and quiet and works well. W/mount upgraded from the PD-7. PD-80R Dual zone trigger (Snare). All drum pads have Remo mesh head and can be tuned to feel like they sound. PD-80 (Tom 1), PD-80 (Tom 2), PD-80 (Tom 3). There a small crack on one of the rubber rims due to rimshots but I just rotate it around and it does not effect the playing. KD-80 Kick Drum Pad. I have used it with a double pedal and works great. Has sturdy legs with pins and won’t move if you put it on carpet or some type of floor mat. CR-12R/C (Cymbal 1), CR-12R/C (Cymbal 2). CR-15R (Ride) 15 in Ride feels really close to a real ride because of the size and weight. All 3 cymbals have two ports to switch between (bell and bow) or (bow and edge) you probably could plug in the second one to one of the auxiliary slots to trigger all three areas but I didn’t try to do this or find the need. They are also all choke able by holding the edge. But you can use with one of the tom mounts off to one side. 5 Drum mounts (one for the hi-hat). Most of them are stereo cables and are labeled and have cable management wraps to help make it easier to put back together. The rack breaks down into 3 pieces two go into the cary case without repositioning everything. Roland V-Drum Soft cases. One for the drums the other for the hardware rack. Yamaha bass drum pedal. Has been slightly customized / repaired several years ago but have not had any issues since then. For the CMOS memory I just replaced it a few months ago so it should be good for at least 5 years but its good to have when needed. I replaced it 2 times since I have had it it warns you when it needs to be replaced and there are good videos showing how to do it. I weighed them in the cases the pad case was 56.8 lbs and the hardware case was 27.4 lbs.
